These terms apply to any garden or landscaping work carried out by A Garden For You("I", "me", "my"), a sole trader based in Ryde, Isle of Wight. By requesting a quote or booking work, you agree to the terms set out below.

Website use

This website and its content, including text, photographs and the logo, belong to A Garden For You unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to browse and share links to it, but content shouldn't be copied or reused without permission. The site is provided as-is, and while I take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, I can't guarantee it's error-free at all times.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are given free of charge, based on the details you provide and, where needed, a visit to look at the job. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it's given unless stated otherwise. If the scope of a job changes once work has started, for example if more is needed than was visible when the quote was given, I'll let you know and agree a revised price before continuing.

Booking and cancellation

A job is booked once you've accepted a quote, whether by phone, text, email or in person. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, ideally at least 24 hours, so the time can be offered to another customer. Regular bookings (weekly or fortnightly visits) can be paused or cancelled at any time with reasonable notice.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise in advance. I accept bank transfer and cash. For standing seasonal or regular bookings, payment terms will be agreed before the work begins.

Guarantees and workmanship

If you're not happy with the standard of a completed job, let me know within 7 days and I'll come back to put it right at no extra charge. This covers the standard of work carried out. It doesn't cover the natural growth, health or condition of plants, lawns and hedges after the visit, which depends on weather, soil and other factors outside my control.

Liability

Reasonable care is taken on every job to protect your garden, lawn and any existing planting or features. Garden and landscaping work carries some inherent risk, and I'm not liable for pre-existing damage or issues not caused by my work. Any damage caused directly by negligence on my part during a job will be put right or fairly compensated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
